Research is at the center of the Rehabilitation Science program. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of individuals, communities, and society through research and scholarship that focuses on the relationship between people, everyday activities and environments.

We are housed in the Departments of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy, which are home to multiple rehabilitation research collaborations and laboratories that are funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, National Institutes of Health, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and multiple other federal funding agencies and foundations.
