Each summer UAB’s Department of Housing and Residence Life, offers housing for camp and conference groups for both internal and external organizations/groups. We make it our mission to ensure each group’s stay exceeds expectations in level of service and care. We are able to accomplish this through our conference services staff.
Conference Assistants
Our conference assistants are here to assist groups throughout their stay with us. Conference Assistants are a select group of undergraduate students at UAB who have a passion for customer service and a drive to ensure that everyone who stays with us feels welcomed. Conference Assistants prep rooms before group’s arrivals, complete the check-in and check-out process, work the front info desk and do nightly rounds to ensure the safety of the building.
