We are so excited you will be joining us for Family Weekend this weekend October 14 – 16, 2022! It is a going to be a great weekend with events happening both on campus and in the surrounding Birmingham community.

Check-In
Family Weekend Check-in information can be found on the table below. If you are unable to make it to one of these times, your UAB student will be able to check-in for you.
Friday, October 14 3:00 - 7:00pm Hill Student center amphitheater View Building Map Saturday, October 15 7:30 - 10:00am Off Campus Student Lounge, HSC First Floor View Building Map
At Family Weekend check-in you will receive:
- Nametags for all registered family members (these will serve as your tickets to the UAB Family Weekend tailgate on Saturday, October 15)
- Family Weekend t-shirts
- Clear stadium bags
- Tickets to the UAB football game against UNC Charlotte
- Tickets to any local UAB attractions which were purchased with registration
During Family Weekend Check-In, the Office of Parent & Family Services will be collecting donations for the UAB Student Assistance & Support Food & Supply Pantry.
This pantry provides any UAB student who is experiencing financial need and/or food insecurity with non-perishable food, personal hygiene items, and school supplies. Click HERE to learn more about the Food Pantry.
We will be collecting monetary donations as well as personal hygiene products, and school supplies, with a need specifically for personal hygiene products. If you are making a monetary donation, please write your check to the University of Alabama at Birmingham and write Student Assistance & Support Food & Supply Pantry on the memo line. -
Parking
Parking is available at no charge throughout the weekend in the 12th Street parking deck. No parking pass is required.
