Spring 2018 Lecture Series kicks off with activist Bree Newsome
UAB is excited to welcome activist Bree Newsome on Monday, Feb. 26 as part of the official kickoff for the Spring 2018 Lecture Series. The event will take place in the Hill Student Center Ballrooms CD. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., followed by Newsome’s lecture and a Q&A session with the audience.

Campus Rec is providing Childcare options with Spring Day Camps
Throughout the spring semester the UAB Campus Recreation Center will be hosting Spring Day camps. These day camps are designed for parents who work while their child is out of school. The day camp schedule is from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and is for children between the ages of 5 and 12.

UAB commencement, doctoral hooding ceremonies set for Dec. 16
More than 1,500 students will graduate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham this fall, and an estimated 700 are expected to walk in the commencement ceremony set for 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Bartow Arena.
