American rapper from Atlanta, GA Roscoe Dash will perform at Zydeco. Tickets cost $10, and doors open at 9:30 p.m.

Trumpet Festival of the Southeast

4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
The UAB Department of Music will host classical trumpet player Joe Burgstaller at 4:30 p.m. and pianist Chris Steele at 8:30 p.m. Both concerts are free. The festival lasts Jan. 15- 17. To register or find more information, visit their website at tfse2016.weebly.com.

UAB Track and Field Invitational

UAB will host their annual invitational Track and Field Invitational on Friday, Jan. 15 and Saturday, Jan. 16 from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Admission is free.

American comedian and actor Ron White will perform his stand up. Tickets begin at $50.

Birmingham Mountain Radio presents Canadian folk-rock singer-songwriter Dallas Green, known as City and Colour. Tickets start at $30. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m.

Railroad Earth

Born out of New Jersey, the newgrass jam band Railroad Earth
