The Office of Research Services is the hub for the The University of Alabama at Birmingham Spinal Cord Injury Model System (UAB-SCIMS). As part of the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation's Functional Neuro-Recovery Program, Research Services maintains this web site in an effort to promote easy access to available information that may improve the health and quality of life for people with spinal cord injury and other related impairements.
