Education:

  • B.A., Brigham Young University, Japanese
  • M.S., Palmer College of Chiropractic, Human Anatomy

I have had the pleasure of teaching Human Anatomy and related courses in diverse academic settings at undergraduate and graduate levels since 1996. Prior to my arrival at UAB in August 2021, I instructed medical and nursing students at St. George’s University (SGU) in Grenada and Medical University of the Americas (MUA) in St. Kitts and Nevis, chiropractic students at Palmer College of Chiropractic (PCC), and undergraduates and graduates at St. Ambrose University. I enjoy interacting with learners of various ages, ethnicities, and academic backgrounds. I am interested in using a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles, and to foster maximum engagement, enthusiasm for learning, comprehension, and independent thinking.
