We offer two minors: the Minor in Spanish and the Spanish for Business Minor.

Both minors offered online

Spanish Minor

The minor in Spanish consists of 12 hours from 200-level or higher courses. To enroll in any 200-level course, you must either complete 8 hours of 100-level courses or complete the equivalent placement test.

Spanish for Business Minor

The minor in Spanish for Business is perfect for students majoring in business, international studies, engineering, criminal justice, accounting and finance, communication studies, government, and social work. It is also a great option for local professionals.

The minor consists of 12 hours from 200- and 300-level courses. Students must have a knowledge of low-intermediate general Spanish (the equivalent of SPA 201) before starting the program. There are two options for students wishing to complete the minor:

  • a mix of on-campus and online courses
  • online-only courses
