During my six years studying in the math department at UAB I met so many wonderful people, inspiring professors and friendly fellow students. I can say without hesitation that it was such a great place to learn and grow as a graduate student. Not only did professors worked actively in their teaching and research, which set excellent models for us, but also they provided us continuous guidance and support through the entire process and taught us how to be teachers and researchers. I am really thankful for all the growth I experienced and gained from the math department and from my advisor.
