Welcome to the Math Learning Lab (MLL)

The MLL is a computer lab where students enrolled in MA 094-227 at UAB can work on the computers and get math help from tutors who are graduate students in mathematics.

Tutors will help you learn and understand concepts through questions and examples. They are trained to guide you so that you can complete your work independently. Be sure to bring your notes, work, and materials.

Tutors will NOT help you with graded assignments nor do all your homework with you. They will not teach you new material that was covered in a missed class or all the material that will be on a test. Note that tutors will not sit with you for extended periods of time.

No appointment is needed. The MLL is open Mon-Fri from the first day of class to the last day of class, but it is closed during holidays, breaks, and final exam week.

*The MLL is currently closed, but virtual Zoom tutoring is available for students enrolled in MA 094-227 at UAB.
