Biodistribution

The Small Animal Imaging Facility can assist in collecting biodistribution data following injections. A biodistribution is an in-vivo study that uses nonclinical species (usually rodents) to help understanding where a compound goes (in which organs it accumulates) after being administrated into the subject. In the image below, there is an example of a typical biodistribution study done in healthy mice.
