Michelle Dandridge, D.M.D., is active in her community, with organized dentistry, and with the School of Dentistry.

A sole practitioner in a highly successful practice, she also plays the role of “super mom” to her two young children.

Representative of the school’s incredible alumni base, Dandridge is recipient of its 2020 Outstanding Young Alumnus Award.

After earning her undergraduate degree from Oakwood College, Dandridge quickly became a star at UAB. Her classmates came to know her as a very compassionate and skilled dentist. After graduating in 2006, she took her talents to Dothan, AL. She has been the owner of Dandridge Dental Family Dentistry since 2011.

Dandridge is a rising star in organized dentistry. She currently serves on the UAB Dentistry Leadership Council. She is also active in the American Dental Association and the Alabama Dental Association, and has served as president of the Third District Dental Society. She has supported the school and its alumni association by financially contributing and volunteering her time to numerous initiatives and alumni functions. Dandridge also volunteers at various Dothan non-profits. She is a regular contributor to the school’s Annual Fund and the Excellence in Alabama Dentistry Fund.

Dandridge and her husband, Terrynce, have two sons, Tyler and Myles.
