Severe Weather Gathering Points (EHS-Campus Safety maintains an internal list)

Below is a list of the safest areas of UAB Campus Buildings for employees and students during severe weather. Not all buildings have been evaluated, but as they are completed the list will be updated. Please reach out to UAB campus safety if you need assistance.

REMINDER: These shelters are open during normal campus hours in the event of an emergency. If a decision is made to close campus, all buildings will be limited to faculty and staff access only with the exception of residence halls and their associated shelters. Those shelters will remain accessible to students who are assigned to that residence hall.
