This project will have long term traffic impacts on a portion of campus. Over several months, construction will close portions of 18th and 19th streets south, between 4th and 10th avenues south, in phases. Portions of 7th Avenue South, between 14th and 18th streets south, will also be impacted.

Detour routes and traffic instructions will be posted at the construction sites. Please be aware of the impacted areas and plan accordingly.

This project will provide UAB with more access to cost saving, non-potable water sources. Updates will be provided as more information on this project is available.
