The temporary street closure scheduled for April 17 has ended. The area is open to traffic.
Both lanes of 10th Avenue South, between 14th Street South and 16th Street South, will close Friday, April 17, 2026, to accommodate the UAB 4th Annual Crawfish Boil featuring Blazer State Fair.
The closure begins at midnight and will remain in effect until 9 p.m. that evening. Travelers should plan for alternative routes as the area will be inaccessible to through traffic during this period. The event is scheduled for 6–9 p.m.
