Beginning Monday, Feb. 3, the eastbound lane of 7^th Avenue South, between 14^th and 16^th streets south will close due to electrical work by Alabama Power Company. This closure will not affect the westbound lane of 7^th Avenue South.

The Hill Student Center loading dock, on 7^th Avenue South, will still be accessible for deliveries. Traffic exiting this area must turn left and travel west on 7^th Avenue South, toward 14^th Street South.

The project is expected to be complete in approximately six weeks. Please be aware of the impacted areas and plan accordingly.

This closure is part of underground electrical work by Alabama Power Co.
