Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS) online course lectures begin June 15 and 16, 2023, and must be completed at your own pace by June 30, 2023. The required in-person Skill and Simulation Session is scheduled for June 15 or 16, per availability and pursuant to UAB COVID precautions policy. Click here to download the brochure.
Developed by the Society for Critical Care Medicine and sponsored by the UAB Heersink School of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine Division of Critical Care and Perioperative Medicine and the Heersink School of Medicine Division of Continuing Medical Education, the FCCS course provides a comprehensive overview of critical care support for non-intensivist clinical providers.
FCCS training focuses on preparing participants to effectively manage critically ill and injured patients. Topics will include mechanical ventilation, monitoring, organ hypoperfusion, and neurological support. Click here to download the flyer.
