Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS) online course lectures begin June 16 and 17, 2022, and must be completed at your own pace by July 1, 2022.

Developed by the Society for Critical Care Medicine and sponsored by the UAB Heersink School of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine Division of Critical Care and Perioperative Medicine and the Heersink School of Medicine Division of Continuing Medical Education, the FCCS course provides a comprehensive overview of critical care support for non-intensivist clinical providers.

FCCS training focuses on preparing participants to effectively manage critically ill and injured patients. Topics will include mechanical ventilation, monitoring, organ hypoperfusion, and neurological support.

Course Fee*

  • Non-Physicians and Trainees: $125.00

  • Physicians: $250.00

  • Non-UAB affiliates is an additional $50.00
