Biography

Dr. Yang is a Birmingham native and earned his BS in Molecular Biology and MD at UAB. He went on to complete a transitional year internship at Newton-Wellesley Hospital and dermatology residency at UAB. After residency, he completed an American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) fellowship in micrographic surgery & dermatologic oncology at Saint Louis University under the direction of Ramona Behshad, MD, gaining expertise in Mohs surgery, complex reconstruction, and complex skin cancer management. His clinical interests include medical dermatology, especially autoimmune blistering diseases, as well as melanoma and clinical research.
