Thanks to the generosity of many of you all across the UAB Pediatric family, the IDEAA Council and Coat of Arms were able to donate 10,000+ items to over 600 elementary school students across three elementary schools in Selma (Clark, Payne, & Kingston).

This included: supply boxes for 30 classrooms, a backpack for each student filled with supplies, and miscellaneous items such as Kleenex, Lysol, copy paper, etc.

These children are part of our larger pediatric community and after the winter storms last year hit Selma many of these families had to make difficult decisions. Because of the impact of the Selma School Drive, these families have one less worry as they start the school year. Thank you all again!
