Our portfolio of NIH-funded projects has grown significantly in the last 5 years and many of our faculty members serve in leadership positions at the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Chest Physicians, and other professional organizations.

The division's many clinical
and research programs participate in networks such as the NIH-funded COPD and Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Networks, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Therapeutics Development Network, and the Pulmonary Fibrosis Clinical Care Network
