Bio
Andrew Schultz, M.D., was adopted from South Korea and is the oldest of five. Though he briefly returned there to teach English, he has spent the majority of his life in middle Tennessee. His biggest challenge came during medical school after a spinal cord injury paralyzed him and he had to adjust to life in wheelchair. He found himself even more motivated to become a physician and his personal interest in learning in about the nervous system and his love of technology led him to be drawn towards diagnostic radiology. Outside the hospital he enjoys playing tabletop games, spending time outdoors or in museums, watching Tennessee Vols and Titans football, and traveling to visit family and friends.
