BIRMINGHAM, AL — Sparkman High School senior Brian Fike has been awarded the Nail/Edwards Scholar Award, A UNUS Foundation Scholarship, from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Business. Fike is the son of Brian Sr. and Siglinde Fike and Suzanne Fike of Harvest.

The scholarship provides complete financial assistance for tuition, fees, books and room and board at UAB for four years.

The award is given annually to a graduating senior from an Alabama public high school who has been admitted to the pre-business program at UAB, intends to obtain a business degree at UAB, and who has a minimum ACT score of 27 or a minimum SAT score of 1200.
