The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Business MBA program is one of the best in the nation, according to The Princeton Review’s new 2010 edition of The Best 301 Business Schools.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Business MBA program is one of the best in the nation, according to The Princeton Review's new 2010 edition of The Best 301 Business Schools. The book is available for purchase at U.S. stores.

The Princeton Review does not rank schools hierarchically but compiles its list based on surveys of 19,000 students from the 301 schools profiled in the book.

2009 marks the fourth straight year that the UAB MBA program has placed in the education services company's best business schools list.

In its two-page UAB profile, student reviewers describe an MBA program that is breaking through to establish a tradition of excellence. "The school's prestige, which is based on solid teaching and good administration, is growing," the profile says in quoting student reviews.

Dean David Klock, Ph.D., says The Princeton Review recognition is another indicator of the School of Business' growing reputation.

"The Best 301 Business Schools has acknowledged what we at UAB already know," Klock says. "The School of Business offers its students a world-class education, and this recognition is just another example of how the school's reputation is growing nationwide."
