University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing alumna Elizabeth Robison, EdD, MSN, RN, CNE, CHSE-A (MSN 1992), is the recipient of the 2025 Bobbie Anderson Leadership Award from the Foundation of the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing. The award honors exceptional educators who are shaping the future of associate degree nursing education.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by my colleagues for the work I continue to do in support of the academic community,” Robison said. “Giving back has always been an important part of my nursing journey and I’m truly humbled by this recognition.”
Robison received the award during the OADN Convention in November in Nashville, Tennessee. She is a Retired Professor at Northwest Florida State College in Fort Walton Beach.
The OADN is a national resource for community college nursing education and the associate degree pathway, promoting leadership, collaboration and advocacy. The Foundation provides education opportunities, leadership development programs and represents the needs of associate degree nursing programs to leaders in government and influential organizations.
