Maggie Davis selected to be a student reporter for the NPWH

Maggie Davis2Maggie Davis, master of nursing (MSN) student in the women's health nurse practitioner track in the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing has been selected from a national applicant pool to be 1 of 10 student reporters for the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health (NPWH).

Davis will serve as a student leader in the organization and perform scholarship and service duties at the NPWH national conference, within the organization, and at the UAB School of Nursing. Davis will also have mentorship opportunities with the NPWH Board of Directors.

NPWH's mission is to ensure the provision of quality primary and specialty healthcare to women of all ages by women's health and women's health focused nurse practitioners. Their mission includes protecting and promoting a woman's right to make her own choices regarding her health within the context of her personal, religious, cultural and family beliefs.
