4th Annual Young Breast Cancer Survivors Workshop set

The Young Breast Cancer Survivorship Network (YBCSN), an initiative of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing, will hold its 4th Annual Young Breast Cancer Survivors Workshop Saturday, April 2.

YBCSN circle logo 400x400The free event is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at The Worship Center – Huffman, 100 Derby Parkway, Birmingham, AL, 35210. It will include sessions for women, a men’s workshop, a program for children and teens, breakfast, lunch, Zumba, a meditation walk, giveaways and other fun activities.  

Session topics for women include:

·      Physical Activity – What’s New?

·      Single & Dating

·      Ask The Expert

·      Friends, Families & Partners in Survival

The focus of the YBCSN is to improve the quality of life of young breast cancer survivors and their loved ones through education, support and networking.
