Two-time graduate publishes third book

University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing alumnus B. Davis Campbell, MSN, CRNP, recently published his third book, Bullet Points: Absolute Essentials for Facing a Fallen World.

Campbell is a nurse practitioner in the cardiovascular surgery unit at UAB Hospital. After being diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2004 and undergoing cancer treatment, including major surgery, chemotherapy, and lifestyle changes, he was declared cancer-free in 2011.

In 2011, Campbell also wrote his first book, A Place I Didn’t Want to Go: My Victory Over Cancer, which chronicles his physical and mental struggles during cancer. Three years later, he wrote Glorified Sickness: Honoring God Through Illness.

Campbell’s latest book, Bullet Points: Absolute Essentials for Facing a Fallen World, is a collection of his life experiences and lessons learned based upon the Biblical passages of Romans 12:9-21. All of his publications are available for purchase through Amazon.com.

Campbell earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the UAB School of Nursing in 1987 and 2001, respectively.
