What are the reporting requirements?

There are two reporting requirements: annual reports and a final report.

Who submits the reports?

The PI is responsible for reporting.

How and when are reports submitted?

The reports are submitted on templates available on the Strategic Plan website. The annual report is submitted on the anniversary of the project date. The final report is due at the last anniversary date of the project. Recipients may also be asked to report to the President’s Cabinet on the use of SIF funds and outcomes related to the investment.

What information must be submitted in each report?

Each report should focus on the milestones, short and long-term objectives, ability to obtain additional funds, and a financial report. Templates for reports (annual and final) are available on this website.

What happens if the required reports are not completed?

Continued funding is contingent upon successful completion of milestones in annual reports. The failure to submit reports in a timely way will lead to a cessation of any remaining funding and result in disqualification from future consideration of SIF funding.

How will information be communicated about investments?

Strategic Investments will be tracked and publicized quarterly.
