The UAB Small Business Development Center will hold a “Starting Your Business” session Friday, Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Room 202 at the center, 1055 S. 11th St.
The session, led by David Ramp, covers a variety of topics, including creating a business plan, marketing and financing. A $15 fee covers materials and parking is free. To register, call 934-6760 in advance.
