Clinical Track - Prior Learning Option

The MS in Nutrition Sciences, Clinical Track – Prior Learning Option is an entirely online graduate degree program for registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs).

Applicants must have a Verification Statement from the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics demonstrating successful completion of a Dietetic Internship (DI) or Coordinated Program (CP). UAB is one of the 49 states who are members of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). Unfortunately, we cannot accept students from California (not an NC-SARA member) to our online programs. This only applies to these programs: Clinical Track - Prior Learning Option, Dietitian Education Program Pathways, Lifestyle Management and Disease Prevention Track, and our Online Graduate Certificate in Nutrition for Community Health.
