The Department of Medicine currently has the Leadership DOM program (LDOM) offered to faculty and staff, which is a customized, competency-based leadership curriculum to help participants build a personal development strategy — one that identifies and improves individual leadership skills in a shared learning environment.
All sessions are led by leadership development coach and clinical psychologist Dr. Julie McDonald, and UAB DOM Program Director II

Application Process
Each year, DOM seeks up to 60 participants for its LDOM class which launches in January of every year. Applicants who miss more than two sessions will not be eligible to graduate.
The deadline to apply is October of every year, 11:59 p.m., CT.
