The Gregory Pence scholarship of $2000 is available as a one-time award to a student selected from UAB first-year and second-year students with Philosophy as their first major. The winner is chosen annually from the pool of applicants by a committee in the Philosophy Department. You may apply for this scholarship through the UAB BSMART scholarship system.
