About the Program

People of all ages need mental health professionals like you to help them through a variety of issues. In this program, we can prepare you to offer counseling, therapy, and other services that can be critical to improving a person’s state of mind.

To begin, you’ll take core courses such as Introduction to Psychology as well as Abnormal Psychology. Then you’ll choose two electives for your specialty from a list that includes Medical Psychology, Clinical Child Psychology, Contemporary Issues in Psychology, Motivation and Emotion, and Psychotherapy and Behavior Change. Before you graduate, you’ll complete a community-based practicum in psychology providing real-world career experience.
