Why did you choose UAB?
The environment and how everyone whether the same major or not, makes everyone feel at home.
Why did you choose your major?
I have been wanting to be a teacher since I was about 12 years old and I want to pour into the lives of young children.
What is your favorite thing about the UAB School of Education and Human Sciences?
The outstanding help of the advisors and connecting with students who is majoring in the same major as you.
What class have you enjoyed the most so far at UAB?
EDF 362 with Dr. Loder-Jackson.
What is your favorite place to study on or off campus
Sterne Library.
What piece of advice would you give a prospective SOEHS student?
If you are not sure of whether or not teaching is for you, I would definitely advise new students to talk with the advisors and student ambassadors about what the SOE has to offer at UAB.
What are your plans after you graduate from UAB?
Teach in the local Birmingham area while studying to get my masters in library science, and move to beach.
