Beginning Monday, Sept. 16, construction will close portions of 7th Avenue South, between 14th and 18th streets south. The closures will take place between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Traffic should not be affected during normal business hours.

Construction will occur in three phases:

• Phase 1: 7th Avenue South, from 18th to 16th streets south, will be closed to traffic at night.
• Phase 2: The 7th Avenue South and 16th Street South intersection will be closed to traffic at night.
• Phase 3: 7th Avenue South, from 16th to 14th streets south, will be closed to traffic at night.

Construction is anticipated to be complete within four weeks.

Vehicles parked in the affected areas should be moved by 7 p.m. each day. Detour routes and traffic instructions will be posted at the construction sites. Please be aware of the impacted areas and plan accordingly.

This closure is a part of the ongoing industrial water project. This project was first announced June 24.
