Information Technology Core in the U54 program will play a role in the collection and management of scientific data for the U54 research team members, and dissemination of information to the public. IT Team will work with member researchers in the U54 program across three campuses to streamline their data collection process and storage into databases, and safeguard these important findings in a secured manner. Software tools and query mechanisms will be provided to the member researchers to collaborate with each other in a seamless manner and to enable scientific discovery in cancer research. These tools will also enable the data harvesting from the cancer research field, finding the critical needles from the vast haystacks.
