The UAB BookTalk book club will begin a new season with a discussion of Louise Erdrich's novel The Painted Drum at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2 in the Sterne Library Henley Room. The discussion will be led by Assistant Professor Gale Temple, Ph.D.
Admission to UAB BookTalk is free and open to the public. The fall schedule will include discussions on Colson Whitehead's novel The Intuitionist on Oct. 7, Oral History by Lee Smith on Nov. 4 and Bombay Time by Thrity Umrigar on Dec. 2.
