The Doctoral Convocation and Hooding Ceremony for graduating Optometry students will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 18 in the Alys Robinson Stephens Performing Arts Center.
The speaker will be G. Robert Crosby, OD, who was instrumental in the birth of the UAB School of Optometry and whose civic and professional contributions are numerous. Light refreshments will be served immediately following the ceremony for the families and guests in attendance. For information, call 975-0739.
