Kerry McAlpine Smith AwardSHP Awards

Every year, the School of Health Professions recognizes top faculty, staff and students with awards. The difficult task of narrowing down the best to one person goes to our Honors and Recognition Committee.

The 2018-2019 committee, chaired by Amanda Dorsey, includes Tosi Gilford, Mary Foster, Doug Moellering, David Morris, Amanda Sherman, and Sarah Tucker.

Student Awards

The School of Health Professions (SHP) Student Awards will be managed by the Student Affairs Committee (SAC) with endorsement from the Program Directors. The awards will be given fall and spring semesters to an undergraduate and graduate student for each. Undergraduates will be recognized at program graduation events. SHP award recipients will also be invited to participate in the SHP Honors Recognition luncheon and University Honors ceremony, both held in the spring. The schedule for applications will be commensurate with the timing established for awarding SHP scholarships.
