SHP Awards

Every year, the School of Health Professions recognizes top faculty, staff and students with awards. The difficult task of narrowing down the best to one person goes to our Honors and Recognition Committee.

The 2022-2023 committee, chaired by Heather Lee, includes Mamie Coats, Lizzy Davis, Mary Foster, John Lowman, Amanda Sherman, Sarah Tucker, and Stephanie Ward.

Student Awards

The School of Health Professions (SHP) Student Awards will be managed by the Student Scholarships and Awards Committee with endorsement from the Program Directors and/or Faculty. The awards will be given during the spring semester to a deserving undergraduate or graduate student for each. SHP award recipients will also be invited to participate in the SHP Honors Recognition luncheon and University Honors ceremony, both held in the spring. The schedule for applications will open on December 1 and close on January 15th of each academic year.
