Students discuss their deployment with the academic advisor to review the ramifications of taking a leave for an unspecified period.

Students are encouraged to return to UAB following their active military service. Students do not have to reapply or pay readmission fees; however, they must contact the Veterans Services Office to complete a Military Re-Admission Update form.

Students who have attended another college/university or taken CLEP exams must submit official transcripts to update their UAB records.
