The RespectED for Undergraduate Students Training is required for all new undergraduate students (freshmen, transfers, or non-traditional students). The training will be available in Canvas beginning August 17, 2026, allowing students early access before the semester begins. You are strongly encouraged to complete the training as early as possible before coursework, exams, and campus activities increase.

We understand that participating in this training may be challenging or triggering for some individuals. If you are concerned about completing this training because of its content, please email Prevention Courses.

Failure to complete this training by the deadline may result in a registration hold being placed on the student’s account until the requirement is satisfied.

Deadlines and Completion

  • August 17, 2026: Course opens in Canvas (early access)
  • August 24, 2026: Official launch and first day of classes
  • September 30, 2026: completion deadline
