Endowment Opportunities
An endowment is a long-term investment in the university, held in perpetuity, that will provide scholarships, support funds, and other benefits to students and faculty year after year. Because the gift principal is invested and only a portion of the income is spent, a donor who creates an endowed gift today can be confident that it will grow and continue to support UAB in the years to come.
Operations/Programming and Equipment
Your support can ensure that UABTeach secures the infrastructure it needs to be a powerful and permanent force in ending the shortage of STEM teachers in Alabama.
Scholarships/Internships
You can provide multiple levels of support to UABTeach students who are taking on the challenge of adding a teaching certificate to their college work.
Mentor Stipend/Faculty Support
Provide mentoring opportunities for UABTeach students. Our students visit local schools and apply all they are learning with real kids in actual classrooms guided by mentor teachers from UABTeach partner school districts.
