Applicants Graduating from High School in 2021

UAB is committed to evaluating admission applications fairly and holistically in light of the current pandemic. Admission and scholarship deadlines may change depending on the timing and availability of high school transcripts as well as ACT and SAT exams this fall. Testing availability and scheduling due to the COVID-19 pandemic have adversely affected students and families embarking on the college admissions process. UAB will not require applicants for spring, summer and fall 2021 to submit ACT or SAT test scores for admissions or scholarship consideration. High school GPA and quality of curriculum will be evaluated as the primary criteria for determining academic preparedness. In the event you are unable to take an ACT or SAT due to the impact of COVID-19, we will consider PSAT and PreACT scores as well as the Residual ACT offered on our campus. Please contact your admissions counselor to discuss options.
