BlazerBucks for Books
Students spoke. We listened.
Students with extra financial aid have reported difficulty in accessing those funds to purchase books prior to the start of classes.
In response, if you are an undergraduate students who has an account credit of $50 or more due to an excess in anticipated Financial Aid, these funds—up to $500—will automatically transfer to your BlazerBucks account on August 20, 2013. Students may use these funds at Barnes & Noble at UAB or any other BlazerBucks vendor.
These BlazerBucks will be available on Wednesday, August 21 so that you may purchase books before before classes begin on August 26.
You may opt out of this automatic BlazerBucks transfer by completing the online form. by noon on Tuesday, August 20. Students who opt out will receive their excess financial aid via direct deposit during the week of August 26, after the start of classes.
