Admission Requirements
You can be admitted to the program as a freshman on a provisional basis. Full admission is granted during your junior year, after you have completed 60 hours of coursework. You must have a mentor before you can be admitted to the program. Most students will have worked in your mentor’s lab for at least one term before applying.
Admission to the program requires:
- a minimum 3.25 grade point average
- three letters of recommendation
- an interview with the program director
- a satisfactory score on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) by fall of your senior year
