Ramsey is a MS of Global Health student in the School of Public Health. He received his Master of Public Administration from the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), where he became a member of the Pi Alpha Alpha NASPAA Honor Society. During his time at UAB, Ramsey has worked with the Alzheimer’s Association, Congresswoman Sewell’s office, the Lister Hill Center for Health Policy, and the Institute for Human Rights. His research interests primarily involve the right to health and the right to participate in governance under UDHR articles 25 and 21. He hopes to study how state actors can implement change in the support of healthy populations and healthy systems of government.
