UAB Spanish students on a study abroad trip.To major with a concentration in Spanish or Applied Professional Spanish you will need to take 39 credit hours of course-work, including:
  • FLL 120 Foreign Cultures
  • FLL 121 or an introductory course to one of the other languages offered by the department
  • FLL 485: A senior capstone project

You will also take 12 hours of 200-level classes, 9 hours of 300-level classes, and 9 hours of 400-level classes.
