Research Interests
My primary research focus on adult development and aging. I have been particularly interested in social determinants of health, racial disparities in health and healthcare, caregiving, life space mobility, cognition, social support, and driving difficulty among older adults with diabetes. Through the study of both healthy older people and those with cognitive dysfunction, I strive to contribute to theoretical understandings of the complexities associated with the aging process.
