About the Program

The master’s degree in Higher Education Intercollegiate Athletics Administration is designed for students who are interested in becoming administrators in collegiate athletics, both sports and e-sports. You’ll get a broad understanding of the purpose and value of athletics in the higher education setting as well as preparation for the critical administrative skills you’ll need to manage college sports programs. You’ll also learn about policy, governance, risk, ethics, and leadership.

Via classroom interactions and practical experiences, you’ll engage with a rigorous curriculum and knowledgeable faculty. In addition to the general track, you can also take courses focused on eSports management, preparing for a career in this rapidly growing industry.

On-Campus

This program delivers most of its content via on-campus, in-person meetings.

Blended

This program delivers at least half of the content online with the remaining content delivered via on- campus meetings. Please check with the program director for more information about on-campus requirements.
