The event featured a mix of live and digital performances by faculty and students.

Jeri Grundhoefer (D2) and Evan Parker (D4) served as emcees for the evening, while Evan Parker and Edwin Rojas (D4) co-directed the show and helped bring the tradition back to life.

Vocal performances included Drs. Barry Goodspeed and Chad Taylor, and students Josh Holsey (D4) and Seth Killam (D2), with Dr. Taylor and Seth Killam accompanying on guitar. Josh Holsey also performed an original composition, and Jade Kim (D4) joined Dr. Goodspeed for a duet. Instrumentalists showcased a wide range of talent, including Anabelle Gales (D3) on harp, Lisa Gu (D2) and Zachary Beason (D4) on piano, and a trio featuring Jade Kim, Luci Shin (D4), and Edwin Rojas performing together on flute, cello, and violin.

Students from the D1 and D2 classes added to the energy of the program with entertaining videos shown throughout the night, while the official show poster, designed by Alex Pausa (D4, Chief Design Officer), reflected the spirit of the night.

The evening marked the 13th Variety Show since the tradition began in the early 2010s, during the administration of former assistant dean Dr. Steven J. Filler.

The celebration continued with an after-party featuring DJ EP3, marking Parker’s debut behind the decks and closing the celebration with high-energy mixes.

A memorable night and a fitting close to Alumni Weekend.
